As promised, the Steam version of the itch.io release has now been made available. It's equivalent to version 2 of the itch.io release, which contains the changes and improvements mentioned in Patch Notes #1.

It's marked as a demo (rather than a full application), so to play it, you just have to click the "download demo" button on the Store page.

As is true for the Itch release, your progress will be retained across each incremental update-- as well as in the full version when that eventually comes out. Progress between the Itch and Steam versions is, likewise, shared, so you should be able to load save-games created while playing the Itch release on the Steam demo and vice versa.

If you've been holding out playing through the first layer, now is a fine time to do so on your platform of choice!
