Reality Layer Zero Second Layer Update is Now Available
The second part of Reality Layer Zero (version 0.3.2) is now available on itch.io and Steam!
(Please note that for the time, I will be leaving the previous version (v0.1.6) up on the itch.io page. This is so that, in case there are any issues with the new version, a player can simply "roll back" and still be able to play all of the First Layer on the previous stable version. Saves are compatible between v0.3.2 and v0.1.6, so changing versions should be reasonably seamless.)
This part is centered around the Scholar's District, and unravelling the truth behind a series of mysterious incidents that have been occurring in that part of the city. New characters, new ideals, and new questions will surely be encountered.
This update also contains a large quantity of bug fixes and improvements, including the balance changes described in this Development Notes entry. These improvements apply equally to the First Layer and the Second Layer.
In terms of known issues, note that there is currently a re-used First Layer CG shown at the end of the Second Layer. This will be replaced with a new CG at some point in the future, but not yet! I'll explain why later.
In my head, I know that there are a lot of things that I should be saying right now, but the rush of having just released such a massive update has utterly obliterated my capacity for thought! I'll write something about it, just... Later! Probably.
(For the time, maybe consider checking out the currently-really-very-tiny Reality Layer Zero subreddit? That could be interesting...)

UPDATE (6/2/24): Hotfix version 0.3.2.0.1 is now live. This version fixes a minor bug wherein Adventure Kid appears in the Second Layer even if you haven't done the first part of her side-story.

does the pendant on marcifelous (i dont really remember her name but red lady) not mean anything. i picked up on it from the start because it looked like our reality layer detector pendant but i feel like it doesnt mean much now
Hype!! This update was really exciting to play.
I especially loved the new watch item that speeds up combat. I'm not sure if any other items do that yet, but hopefully, we see more time shenanigans in the future!

I though my files were corrupted, but It is not possible to continue the game with the save carried over from First Layer via Continue>Second Layer, you need to go through Start>Second Layer.
